Machine Operator

Reporting line(s) Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor

Basic Qualifications:

Preparing metal tubes, bars, and other materials, and staging them for the next step in the operation (which is welding)
Entry level usage of equipment including a bandsaw, tube cutters, deburring machines, resizing dies, metal benders, tube perforators, robotic cutting machines, tube benders, CNC machines, and more
Measuring, cutting, deburring, and staging of raw materials, following AWE manufacturing processes, fixtures, and instructions
Executing all work with precision, adhering to time and quality standards, with minimal scrap
Performing daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) reviews for all assigned equipment, including keeping machines and work areas clean
Providing input and ideas for continuous improvement in process, equipment, tools, and more
Adhering to AWE’s core values
Time tracking, clocking in and out of jobs as directed
Other duties as assigned
